Our food poverty campaign was booming with ideas and discussion this week! The young people discussed their knowledge of poverty, how we can improve understanding in the community, free school meals, and reducing food waste. One young person even did research in their own time to create the poster in the third image.

Everything our young people were up to during British Science Week has been lovingly put together in wellbeing packs to give out to our community members. They were all very chuffed and wanted to give a huge thank you to all that helped out as they thought the gifts were amazing.
This year's British Science Week theme was connections so we took that in all sorts of directions!
Our Parents & Toddler group had a bunch of STEM based activities to keep them busy while the parents made scrapbook photo albums of their time coming to the group and to Network. Our Community groups made self-watering plant pots, brought in their own old baking recipes to share, and baked different cookies from different eras. Our young people wrote letters to the Community members using invisible ink, made DIY chocolate bombs, lavender sleep bags, slime, and coke/mentos volcano. |
