We were able to host 12 different parties for all of the sessions throughout the week, providing food and drinks as well as plenty of party games and fun!

We packed and delivered the extra food parcels to help our service users over the Christmas period while we're closed; though we'll be open again on the 28th and 29th of December for a second round of food parcels. Hopefully this will ease some of the burden of buying a big enough shop to feed full families over the Christmas holidays while schools are closed.
Thank you Enterprise and Cranswick for funding this.
As it got closer to Christmas we held a Grotto for the service users with young families like the year before. We gave away a small wrapped gift to each family member and let the parents go into the IT room to pick out a few of the remaining toys we were donated.
As a Christmas treat, the volunteers decided that they'd like to have a Christmas dinner together. Sadly, not all of them were able to make it in the end, but the ones that could had a blast! The food was great and the company was even better - we're hoping to find a better time or event to host next year so more of them can pop by.
We'd like to give a huge thank you to the Salvation Army and the Freemasons for their generous donations of toys, gifts and chocolates to go towards our service users. It's a fantastic addition to the help we offer at Christmas and they were all so grateful, it'll really help life a weight off their shoulders.
We're grateful to have been able to put together 20+ Christmas Hampers this year for our service users with families in need. The packs included roasties, veg, turkey crown, yorkshire puds, mince pies, gravy, box of chocolates, pigs in blankets and stuffing. Giving them out this early mean that the service users have time to get anything extra that they think they might need for the day, but with a weight lifted off their shoulders that the majority is already available to them. Thank you to our funders for making this possible! And thank you to our lovely volunteer for turning up out of the blue and sticking around to help out for the last hour - it was all done a lot faster with an extra pair of organised hands.
