The young people have been working hard on their campaign connected to Climate Change; they've made posters, an information booklet, and have made & decorated their own puffins based on the local Puffin Trail around the city.
The young people were donated a family ticket to The Deep by KCOM and were able to walk along the Puffin Trail ending at The Deep and visit the aquarium. The young people deeply enjoyed the trip and were able to put what they had already learnt into context with the facts and displays that The Deep had about climate change and be able to expand and explain certain points to staff and other young people at the aquarium. The young people are eager to continue their campaign work even after their trip and are looking forward to what else they can do to help inform their local community about the effect of climate change.
